David Allan Coe studied the songwriting styles of Mickey Newbury and Johnny Cash, but there's no denying he turned out to be a true original.

The $3/4 million Dollar Quartet. Jerry Lee didn't like having his mic turned off every second line.
John Hartford - Old Time River Man

Fabulous version of a great song. Don't know the time or place. Possibly at his home on the Cumberland river Nashville, since it appears to have been filmed without an audience present. John was a multiple Grammy winner, played banjo, fiddle & guitar, and was a prolific songwriter and a registered steam powered riverboat pilot.

This is from Bob Brozman's Instructional video/DVD titled "Ukulele Tunes and Techniques". Cover Notes: Bob jumps right into this fascinating lesson with a potpourri of strums, rolls, triplets and syncopated fingerpicking patterns for the ukulele. You'll combine all these techniques on the traditional Hawaiian piece Hi'ilawe, and segue into a medley of other traditional songs, Tomi Tomi and Mele...

Johnny Winter - Walkin' By Myself

Blues-rocker Johnny Winter at his best. Notably, Jon Paris an accomplished blues & rock guitarist in his own right, plays bass and harp here. I might add that bending the high notes like this is no mean feat. If I tried it, I'd spit my teeth out.

One of the world's greatest contemporary blues artists. In the words of Sam Phillips, originator of Sun Records - "The essence of the blues can not be written as a score, it must come spontaneously from within"

Lived long enough to enjoy the latter years of the Dubliners, what a blessing. Sad they're gone, glad I experienced them.
Uncle Jim ! .....Sounds as good today , as it did in the early '60's

A " student with skin as black as coal" So the singer was upset because the woman chose a black man over him?
When its good its good
this is an anthem I love it
Moore street has been taken over by the moors now, there's hardly anyone or anything Irish about the street anymore. Nothing but sh*tskins now on the stalls.
Greatly missed blue guitarist 😅😅😅
He IS So Missed RIP !
I lived in Dublin during the 70’s. I still miss her.
My old man was from Crumlin. Lived opposite the GUINNESS BOWLING GREEN ON THE CRUMLIN ROAD. What has happened to DUBLIN 😢. It's a real kip now
OMG this reminds me of a pitbull I had just friendly to anyone and everyone.... Well I've always been a jokester and trained him to fu(k the kitty.... well my daughter was 14 and brought her new boyfriend over to meet the family but he was kinda being a butthead and I told him that if you don't stop I'm gonna have my dog to fu(k the kitty he didn't believe me so I pointed to his knee and told 88 to fu(k the kitty he so he did but every time he would show his teeth and growl he had that boy scared and he said he's going to bite me and I said noooooooo you just gotta let him finish.... needless to say he broke up with my daughter after that and then realized that everytime a boy was bugging her to go out she would bring them home and you know the rest....🐕🐾
He came to Alaska. Best show here ever.
A friends dog was friendly with the stuffed animal...my husband cracked a funny joke and said " what do ya know ...they ll probably have beanie babies"........lololol😂
Hey do you still singing in 2024 Like to know because I like you ❤
It's not that we hate the young. We just want to share this feeling of home before your too old to know.
My favorite guitar player after the first time I heard him live. I never missed a show and we both lived in Ct. so I lost track how many, many times I saw him

Look like shit. Lots of concrete, no parking slots, no new parks and trees, crowded nervous people, traffic jams, no old crafts such as carpenters, shoemakerс, no spirit, and soul... No old taverns... and they call that а progress...
All right! Hank Williams Jr. Oh my goodness gracious Hank Lawrence Junior Johnny Cash really Nelson I can. I can name a name and name a name that true country. All this other stuff out there that's called hip hop country. Anyway, gotta go
Oh my gosh. I haven't heard David Allen Cole since I lived in Santa Barbara, California, which was I was turned on to his music. I mean I was turned on it before then. Let's just get this straight on my goodness. Gracious I mean that's I mean he had an uncensored music that he put out. Just kind of like kid Rock and uncensored music he put out cuz he always said that word and the f word and he just like he just came out and he was like basically you'd be like if you go anyway doesn't even matter I got to keep. I got to keep it all real or you're just going to kick sunshine off the UA-cam
Heat frustration🤣🤣🤣
In 1988 getting ice cream dipped in chocolate on O’Connell St and celebrating a 1000 years of Dublin is massive to me, with mum, nan, uncle Jim, brother Kevin, it’s not like anyone alive is gonna seen2000
The levels are right. This is the best version besides me Mum and Nan. The Tones tunes not there. And I love the Tones.
Thank You from one of the best.
Stunning early performance. Ignore the so-so video quality.
